If holidays for you are all about location, location, location, Apartment Rhodos makes everything an absolute breeze. No jostling for a bus in the morning — you can ski from the door — no lugging kit off the mountain in the evening — you can ski to the door.
And the proximity to Morzine’s best après bars mean it’s super easy to pop back to the apartment and leave your kit in the ski locker and drying room (or for mountain bikers, secure bike storage and maintenance room), so you can enjoy yourself without worrying about making sure your stuff gets home with you at the end of the night.
If you’d rather hang out at home than on the town, this cosy apartment has everything you could need. We might have mentioned the balcony that wraps around the building giving panoramic views to be savoured, whether over a cuppa in the morning, or something stronger in the evening.
And when the weather draws in and you fancy a lazy night on the sofa, there’s a flat screen HD TV and Blu-ray player. Meanwhile the fully-equipped kitchen has all you need — and a bit more besides — if you fancy putting together a meal from some of the delicious local produce. We’re talking fridge freezer, oven, 4-ring induction hob, microwave and a table that seats up to six. But there’s also a Nespresso machine, for those who need caffeine to kick start the day, and a dishwasher which means nobody gets left with the washing up, and everyone can sit around that table for a little bit longer.
The two large bedrooms have awesome views of the surrounding mountains — and plenty of storage (although the in-house washing machine means you can pack light, and even take clean gear home.) They can be configured to suit the requirements of your group with one as either a twin or double, and the other with either three single beds, or a double and a single. And, thanks to the underfloor heating, you’ll never get out of bed to a chilly floor.
A super hi-spec bathroom complete with double sink — no jostling for space when you’re trying to brush your teeth — and huge rain shower completes the apartment.
And while the Pleney lift is on the doorstep, if you want access to Avoriaz and the rest of the Portes du Soleil area, the Super Morzine lift is a five minute walk, or you can just hop on the regular resort bus which will whisk you there in moments.
Need space for more friends and family? Take a look at our other apartments within this chalet — Gentianes (sleeps up to 4 people) and Edelweiss (sleeps up to 8 people) — together the three make an excellent choice for groups of up to 17 looking for modern, ski-in, ski-out, self-catered accommodation.
