Perfect for a small group of friends, or a family, this newly renovated apartment perched on the edge of Piste B is ideal for those who like to be first on the slopes as you can literally walk out the door, and after a quick walk up to the piste, ski down to the Pleney lift which gives access to the entire Morzine-Les Gets ski area.
And, of course, it’s an easy ski home at the end of the day. A quick shimmy off the Pleney B piste takes you to the door, leave your skis in the ski store, and your boots on the warmers, and take a load off on one of the comfortable sofas in the open plan living area.
Once home, it’s up to you whether you grab a glass of something cold (or a cup of something hot) on the balcony, make it a cosy movie night with a pick from Netflix app, or a Blu-ray disc on the Ultra HD TV, or get together around the dining room table to share the day’s adventures over something cooked up in the fully-equipped kitchen.
And when we say fully-equipped, we mean it, because as well as everything you’d expect (fridge-freezer, cooker, hob) there are also a few things that just make life easier — a Nespresso machine for those who need a caffeine kickstart in the mornings, and a dishwasher so there are no arguments over the washing up.
The two bedrooms can be configured with twin beds or king size beds, depending on the make up of your group, and both have ample storage.
Despite the amazing piste-side location, you’re far from isolated in this apartment. The bars, restaurants and shops of Morzine are just six or seven minute walk downhill away. While the bus stop for the regular ski bus that will drop you at the Super Morzine lift for access to Avoriaz and the rest of the Portes du Soleil area is even closer.
